Connect Teams and Jira user accounts

What to know
- Each user that wants to interact with Jira from Teams needs to connect their accounts
- This is a quick and easy manual one-time process
- Unconnected users can view notifications and cards posted in Teams but must be connected to take action on anything in Jira
- The Jira application in Teams uses each users Jira credentials to perform actions, as if they were in Jira
Connect user account automatically
The Jira Integration+ bot will prompt users to connect if they perform an activity that requires authentication

- Navigate to a tab or click a ticket that contains Jira issues or notifications
- Click the "Connect Now" button
- Click "Allow" to grant Teams access to your Jira user account
Connect user account manually

- Navigate to the chat tab of the Jira Integration+ bot
- Send the command "signin" to the bot in chat
- Click the returned "sign in" button
- Click the "connect" button
- Click "Allow" to grant Teams access to your Jira user account
Disconnect user account manually

- Navigate to the chat tab of the Jira Integration+ bot
- Send the command "signout" to the bot in chat
- Click the returned "sign out" button
