Connect Teams and Jira user accounts

Brian Mohr Updated by Brian Mohr

What to know

  • Each user that wants to interact with Jira from Teams needs to connect their accounts
  • This is a quick and easy manual one-time process
  • Unconnected users can view notifications and cards posted in Teams but must be connected to take action on anything in Jira
  • The Jira application in Teams uses each users Jira credentials to perform actions, as if they were in Jira
